Introduction

This site does not use profiling or advertising tracking cookies. Below is a detailed, honest list of every storage technology PackTrack PT uses and why — so you don't have to take a generic "we don't use cookies" claim on faith.

Essential technical storage

PackTrack PT uses your browser's local storage (not classic HTTP cookies, but a similar technology) exclusively for the following technical purposes, none of which require prior consent because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you requested:

• Theme preference — key "packtrack-theme" — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.
• Language preference — key "packtrack-language" — remembers your selected language.
• Login session — Supabase authentication token — keeps you logged in between visits. Without it you'd have to log in again on every page.
• App install prompt — remembers whether you've already seen or dismissed the "install as app" suggestion.

None of this data is shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising or behavioral profiling.

Google Fonts

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font from Google's servers means your IP address is sent to Google for the sole technical purpose of delivering the font files — Google Fonts does not set tracking cookies through this service. Stripe (payments)

When you start a payment, the site loads Stripe's script — our payment processor — which may set technical fraud-prevention cookies (e.g. __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid). These are strictly necessary to safely complete the transaction you requested and are only loaded at the moment you initiate checkout, never during ordinary browsing.

No advertising or profiling cookies

PackTrack PT does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other advertising or behavioral-tracking tool. Because of this, the site does not need a cookie-consent banner.

Managing local storage

You can clear the data stored locally by your browser at any time through your browser's own settings (browsing data / site data). Doing so will log you out and reset your preferences to default.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you by email of any significant changes.
